Option is visible only if your GlobalProtect agent configuration allows you to disable the app. If the configuration allows you to disable the GlobalProtect app without requiring you to respond to a challenge, the GlobalProtect app closes without requiring further action. Respond to one or more challenges, if required. Click either 'Download Windows 32 bit GlobalProtect agent' or 'Download Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent.' Click Run to run the file as soon as it is done downloading. If you are not sure if you have 32 or 64 bit Windows, you can check by opening the Settings app and navigating to System/About.
If you've used the globalprotect client for Mac, you may notice that there is no way to exit it, meaning it can continue submitting information about your system to your company in the background, including your current patches, interface information and much much more, even at times you're not connected to the company network. Unfortunately there is no way to opt-out of this, other than uninstalling the client totally every time you want to exit it.
Or we can just unload the launchd script keeping it alive.

Question
Can a ticket number be used to disable the GlobalProtect app for Linux clients irrespective of any connect-method?
Environment
Administrators typically provide passcodes in advance either through email (for new GlobalProtect users) or they are posted on your organization’s website. In response to an outage or system issue, administrators may also provide passcodes by phone.
Before you can obtain a valid ticket number, your endpoint displays a ticket request number that you must communicate to your GlobalProtect administrator or a Help Desk person. If your disable request is approved, you will receive a valid ticket number that you can use to disable GlobalProtect.
Disable The Globalprotect Application
AnswerYou can configure the setting under the GlobalProtect portal for Linux clients to 'Disable the GlobalProtect App' by selecting Allow With Ticket. This is currently not supported irrespective of any connect-method.
Currently, the 'Disable the GlobalProtect App' for Linux OS can only be done through passcode and not by ticket.
